If we experienced life through the eyes of a child, everything would be magical and extraordinary.
– Akiane Kramarik

Great quote, although I’d argue a good parent teaches their children to earn, not demand. 🙂

Yes you are right. We should teach our children to earn.

Children must take second place to adult world. Teach them to have respect not walk all over my ideals. I have no children but next door have many and no peace for pensioner unless I roar at them to leave my carefully planed designed and hard work gardens alone. Hiding in deep rows of tall phlox standing trampling on roots killing of many plants under foot. They swing from trees knocking down unripe fruit and laugh when upset we are to see hard work destroyed. Not anything to do with our gardens but that will not stop them. Say anything the uneducated mother comes to my door screaming of my hatred show to her children with surprise. What is mine they see as theirs .Never have I experienced such insult and hurt from modern family kids can do no wrong no smack on the backside no borders cant cross. I was brought up with respect for all and careful not to damage plants as beauty is garden and adults protect it. Gardening became my passion when I was bought a lawmower to copy dad on lawns making. I was six and from that designed over 600 garden plans for customers as hobby. I am titled yes from an old English bloodline but never see myself as better than anyone else just different
