Chemmeen Vada – Prawns Patties
Peel – 2 cups Raw Prawns – cut small pcs.
Skin – 4 Shallots – 1/2 inch pc Ginger – 4 Cloves Garlic
Spices – 1/2 tsp. Each – Chilli – Pepper – Turmeric Powder – Salt to taste- Handful Curry Leaves
Grate – 1 Cup Grated Coconut ( Fresh or Dry)
Blend – Above items – Rough Paste. – Make small Patties.
Fry – Heat Pan – 2 tbsp. Coconut Oil – Shallow Fry Prawn Patties – Low Flame – +/-2 mnts each side.
Delicious Chemmeen Vada ready to be Served as a Starter or Side dish.
Note – Adjust salt and spices to taste. Make a small doughnut hole in the middle of Patty for even cooking.
