Social expectations and virtual standards keep grinding us from the moment we enter the rat race of life. And the mounting pressure never lets us be ourselves. We are always compared with others and are expected to be like someone else, who probably is better than us in the rat race.
We are called to love others as much as we love ourselves. Jesus Christ said this. If we do not love ourselves how can we possibly love ‘others’. Forgiveness, repentance, having a clear pure heart enables us to face the world of such violence and hate etc and not be in a constant state of comparing ourselves with ‘others’.
Each one is uniquely OURSELVES. take the time to be the best ‘internally’ as well as ‘externally’ you can possibly be and THEN………..go out and face the world with a smile. It does not matter if you are 20 or 100 it is a life lesson we all should learn. Accept what you cannot change, change what you can, but have the Godly Wisdom to KNOW the difference. This is the way to serenity which reflects on our faces because it comes from within.
